By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not damage, disable, overload, probe or interfere with the service, its security or another person’s rights. If you submit a nomination or attend an event, additional terms and notices may apply.
You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape protected submissions, impersonate another person, submit knowingly false material or use CHA branding to imply an endorsement that has not been granted.
Information, dates and availability
CHA works to keep official information current and clearly sourced. Event arrangements, programmes, deadlines, categories, participating facilities and external government benefits can change. Confirm time-sensitive details through the relevant official source before relying on them.
Website availability, downloads and interactive features may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security or technical reasons. A generated reference confirms receipt only where the relevant page expressly says so; it does not itself guarantee nomination acceptance, accreditation, RSVP confirmation, volunteering, partnership or an award.
Health information notice
Content published by CHA and The Health Show is provided for public information and education. It is not a substitute for personalised medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional. Seek urgent medical help where needed.
The Health Access & Benefits directory points to official agencies and does not determine eligibility, process applications, collect programme fees or guarantee that a facility, subsidy or programme remains available.
Forms, evidence and communications
You are responsible for submitting accurate information that you are entitled to provide. Do not upload confidential patient records, identifiable medical records, executable files, unlawful content or material that infringes privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights.
Submission-specific declarations are not blanket marketing consent. CHA does not automatically subscribe a nominator, guest, journalist, volunteer, partner or enquirer to promotional email. See the Nomination Terms, Privacy Notice and relevant just-in-time notice.
Intellectual property and approved assets
The CHA name, identity, website design, awards materials, photographs, film, written content and downloadable resources are protected by applicable rights belonging to CHA or their respective owners. You may view and download public resources for their stated purpose.
Logos, brand assets, event footage and photographs may not be altered, sold, sublicensed or used to suggest sponsorship, partnership, nomination, accreditation or endorsement without permission. Accredited editorial use remains subject to the accreditation and media-access terms.
Third-party websites and embeds
The website links to YouTube, Google Maps, government agencies, news publishers, partners and other third parties. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean CHA controls or guarantees the third party, except where CHA expressly identifies an official partner or primary government source.
External links opened in a new tab use protective browser attributes. Embedded YouTube media remains blocked until the visitor allows it.
Reasonable responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, CHA is not responsible for losses caused solely by a visitor’s unlawful use, a third-party service outside CHA’s control, or reliance on clearly general or time-sensitive information without checking the identified official source.
These terms do not excuse inaccurate statements, negligent data handling or failure to honour applicable legal duties.
Legal entity, governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties should first try to resolve a concern through the CHA Secretariat before pursuing available legal remedies.
CHA management must provide the full registered company name, CAC registration/RC number, registered office address and designated legal/privacy contact. These details have not been invented. The published Secretariat contact remains available in the meantime.
